We establish what the space needs to achieve, the features to retain and the finishes that will carry the design through.
KBM Design and Build carries out the building work and coordinates the specialist trades required. Procurement, access and protection of the existing interior are planned alongside installation, with close attention to the junctions between new and retained work. Smaller commissions are welcome, with the scope and programme shaped around your property.

Knowing what to keep is as valuable as knowing what to change. We look at the condition of existing surfaces, services and fitted pieces with you, so the new work can sit comfortably alongside them. It also helps establish the preparation and making good that need to be included.

Do you take on smaller projects?
Yes. Individual rooms, fitted storage, flooring and redecoration form part of our service. The approach is proportionate to the scope, with the same attention to specification and workmanship.
Can the work be considered in phases?
We can discuss a sequence of improvements around your priorities. Access, shared services, protection and the effect of returning to adjacent areas need to be considered before the phases are agreed.
